What to Expect – Itinerary:

DAY 01: Arrival to Athens City, Greece

Meet and greet upon arrival at Athens Airport  and transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel by 14:00. Rest of the day free at leisure. Stay at night in Athens.

 

DAY 02: Half Day Athens sightseeing Tour With a Local Guide (Duration 5hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning proceed for the Guided Panoramic Tour of Athens. This 5 hours tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Ancient Athens is one of Europe's oldest cities, one with a continuous history whose beginnings can be traced some 5.000 years ago. The Greek capital is known as the cradle of democracy. Visit the imposing Rock of the Acropolis, the cradle of Western Civilization. Learn more about the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erechtheion , the Odeon of Herod Atticus, the ancient theatre of Dionysus - the first in human history. Enjoy the views of Syntagma Square, Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Zeus, the Agora where Socrates taught, the Presidential Palace and the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 03: Athens - Milos

After breakfast, your private transfer will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport or ferry  to the beautiful island of Milos. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and driven to the hotel. Milos is known as the discovery place of the famous Venus de Milo statue, which is now displayed at the Louvre. Afternoon at leisure to explore the “island of colours” - Milos, given its nickname due to its volcanic origin. The volcanic activity in ancient years has endowed Milos Island with an exciting variety of gorgeous landscapes, consequently offering the visitor a wide range of activities.

DAY 04: Milos 

Milos has beaches and landscapes for all tastes. It has more than 75 small and big beaches some accessible by land and some by water. Milos possess a relaxing atmosphere that allows you to explore scenic villages like Klima & Plaka while savoring the local color of the island. Pair this experience with visits to great beaches like Sarakiniko where is the most photographed location on the island due to its white rock formations. In the evening, visit the port of Adamantas. Adamantas has a lively waterfront scene with quaint shops and wonderful tavernas.  

DAY 05: Milos (Sailing Trip)

 

A must experience while in Milos, is to take a sailing trip to Kleftiko, a region on the southern side of the island with azure waters and amazing volcanic rock formations. While in Milos, you might consider visiting the village of Trypiti with its famous windmills. Another charming village is Plaka, which is the place to visit a truly cinematic sunset but try to get there early as many people try to find the perfect spot for the sunset. Enjoy a wonderful dinner from one of our restaurant recommendations in town.

 

DAY 06: Milos - Naxos

 

After breakfast, your private transfer will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the port of Milos for your short ferry to Naxos. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and driven to your hotel. Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades and always has been a crossroad, where archaeologists, historians and scholars of all kinds can meet, drawn by the importance of the culture which has flourished on the island down the centuries. Naxos was a cultural centre of classical Greece, while Venetian and Frankish influences have left their mark.

 

DAY 07: Naxos

 

The most famous landmark of Naxos is the Temple of Apollo - Portara, a massive 2,500 year old marble doorway connected to Naxos Town by a man-made causeway. Its construction was initiated by the tyrant Lygdamis in the 6th century BC, according to the specifications of the temples of Olympic Zeus in Athens and of the goddess Hera on Samos. Entice your senses by swimming, sunbathing and enjoying a range of water sports at some of Naxos’ most beautiful beaches. Visit Agios Georgios for windsurfing, Mikri Viglia for kite surfing or Agiassos for a quiet and relaxed beach atmosphere. Enjoy a meal in Chora or at a little seaside taverna where you can enjoy a magnificent sunset and an authentic meal.

DAY 08: Naxos

Today is your last day in Naxos. Explore the beautiful villages of Apeiranthos and Halki and enjoy the local color of these villages. There is the Temple of Demetra that should be visited. Enjoy a last swim after your day of village exploration and enjoy a relaxing sunset view and meal from Chora.

 

DAY 09: Naxos - Santorini

After breakfast, your private transfer will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the port of Naxos for your short ferry to Santorini, an island known for it’s beautiful sunsets and stunning caldera. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the romantic atmosphere of the island. Perched on a cliff with breathtaking views of the sunsets and the sea below creates the perfect setting for the next few days.

 

DAY 10: Santorini (Sailing Trip)

After breakfast enjoying caldera views, your morning is at leisure. Optional Taste the wines of Santorini at one of the vineyards, visit Ancient Acrotiri or one of the many beaches that Santorini has on offer. In the early afternoon, you will be driven to the port of Vlihada or Ammoudi where you will embark on the sailing trip that we have arranged. You will sail to the Red and White beaches, the Venetian Lighthouse and the Sulphur Springs. During these visits, you will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel.

DAY 11: Santorini (Hiking)

Hiking along the cobblestone pathway from Fira to Imerovigli and then on to Oia. You can also take a short ride and visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri, seeing the remnants of this village in its beautiful museum. Wine connoisseurs will enjoy a Taste the wines of Santorini at one of the vineyards, circuit through the inland villages of Karterados, Monolithos and Emporio.

DAY 12: Santorini

Your last day in Santorini. You might consider visiting the famous village of Oia. Some explore Oia’s local souvenir shops or visit some of the local artists whose display their work of the landscape. Others enjoy the day by taking a donkey ride down from Oia to Ammoudi where they swim, eat and then return to Oia to take in one of the world’s famous sunsets. What better way to end your stay in Greece,

 

DAY 13: Santorini - Athens

After breakfast, your Private transfer will drive you to the airport or Port, Stay at night in Athens 

 

DAY 14: Athens - Home

 After breakfast, your Private transfer will drive you to the airport connecting to your flight home.
