Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival into Athens
Arrival to Athens, where you’ll be met and greet by our private driver and transferred to your hotel in the city. Check in to the hotel by 14:00. You will have the rest of the day at leisure, exploring Plaka region where your hotel is situated. Enjoy sampling some of the delicious Greek street food with some of the city’s very best eats often found along the streets including souvlaki, the well-known dish that originated in ancient Greece or explore one of the many great rooftop bars that are ideal for taking in a view. Stay at night in Athens.

Day 2 | Acropolis Private Walking Tour - Athens
Breakfast at the hotel. One of the best ways to experience Athens is on a private guided tour. You’ll be led by a Greek Local guide on this private excursion of Acropolis Hill and you will have the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Ancient Athens is one of Europe's oldest cities, one with a continuous history whose beginnings can be traced some 5.000 years ago. Afterwards your guide will take you on a walk through Plaka, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Athens. Located just under the Acropolis, this is an area worth exploring. Day 4 | Athens Nafplio

You'll be amazed as you explore the magnificent 4th-century BC theater in Epidaurus, then head to Nafplio, the country’s first capital. Climb the 999 steps of Palamidi Castle for stunning vistas or take a delightful boat ride to Bourtzi, a charming island in the bay. Day 5 | Sparta, Mystras & Olympia

Welcome to Sparta, the land of Leonidas and the breathtaking site of Mystras! Get ready to be amazed as explore modern Sparta, built right on the foundations of its ancient counterpart. You'll in awe of the Acropolis of Ancient Sparta, where monumental structures the 6th century BC stand tall, defying the ages. Marvel at the Ancient Theatre, the stunning Temple of Chalkioikos Athena, and the intriguing remains of the ancient agora. If you're up for it, let’s dive into the Olive Oil and Olive Museum, where you'll discover the vital role of the olive tree in local history. And don’t forget, we’ll also visit the enchanting site of Mystras before settling in for the night in beautiful Olympia.

Day 6 | Olympia tour & Delphi
Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic games, and one of the most celebrated sanctuaries of ancient Greece. The myths of the ancient city of Olympia continue to captivate people around the world, beginning with the legend of Zeus holding the first Olympic Games on the ancient site to commemorate his besting Cronus at wrestling. Walk through the staggering ruins, taking in former training and event areas, and well-preserved monuments such as the temple of Zeus, the Hermes of Praxiteles, and the statue of Nike of Paionios. You’ll then depart the Peloponnese peninsula and return to mainland Greece, heading towards Delphi. Your drive will take you across the impressive Rio-Antirrio Bridge – the longest suspension bridge in the world – and through the picturesque medieval town of Nafpaktos.

Day 7 | Delphi tour & Meteora, Kalambaka

As you walk through the archaeological site and the museum, you’ll uncover the rich history and cultural significance of this UNESCO World Heritage site, surrounded by stunning landscapes that include steep valleys and views of the Gulf of Corinth. After a day filled with exploration, you'll spend the night in the enchanting town of Kalambaka, near the breathtaking rock formations of Meteora. Enjoy the journey!

Day 8 | Meteora Tour & Athens
You'll have a fantastic morning in Meteora, where you'll visit two extraordinary monasteries perched atop near-vertical peaks. As you explore, you'll journey back to the Dark Ages and envision the lives of the hermits and monks who dedicated themselves to building these secluded retreats over the centuries. You can choose between a scenic tour by car or an invigorating hike, both offering stunning viewpoints of Meteora.
After your monastery visits, consider continuing your adventure with a visit to the mushroom museum or going on a truffle hunting tour, where you can sample fresh truffles for an additional fee. Following lunch, you'll make your way back to Athens, enjoying a picturesque drive of about 3-4 hours. You'll arrive in Athens by late afternoon, where you can unwind for the night. Enjoy your stay!
